Booking Policy

This Booking Policy sets out how the terms for any Bookings made with General Standards (generally to do work), and is in addition to the Standard Terms.

If you are unsure about a Booking, you should contact australia@generalstandards.co to confirm.

Booking Policy

You make Bookings from gnrl.co or generalstandards.co, or General Standards will manually schedule a Booking.

In general, you will make a Booking to:

  • Schedule in any work that is required (a Work Window); or
  • Have a consultation.
  • You may need to make a number of Bookings throughout a Matter.

    Bookings usually include a consultation at the start of the Work Window, and then we will produce the work and send it to you for written feedback and amendments within the Work Window.

    All Work Windows are a best estimate and made in good faith. If more time is required, General Standards will let you know.

    If it is your responsibility to inform General Standards of any deadlines. General Standards accepts no responsibility for third party deadlines which it has no knowledge of or has not agreed to meet.

    Where a Booking is for a service with a Fixed Fee (including consultations) that requires payment in advance, the Booking is not confirmed unless payment is made in accordance with the Fee Policy.

    Where General Standards cancels a Booking, it will reschedule you to the next available Booking (which you may confirm if convenient, and if not, reschedule to the next available better time).
